Everyone has there own little techniques they use to clean screens. I think they even have a system out there you can take a portable screen cleaner and setup at the house and run the screen through the cleaner and your done. The traditional way is to take the screens outside, hose them down, scrub with your brush, hose them off again, wipe them up, let them dry and then put them back.

I just use the applicator that I'm washing the windows with, and use it to wet both sides of the screen, then wipe it down quickly with a rag/towel.
The screens come out great, and it only takes about 30-60 seconds.

The only time I take the screens outside is if they're really filthy, usually with cotton or bugs, and then I do the same thing, just outside so I don't get the customer's floor dirty. I've never had a complaint about the screens.
