Hey folks, building my first dApp on Base and the public endpoint keeps choking under load. Rate limits hit constantly, responses lag, and during traffic spikes my app just dies. I need a reliable provider with proper throughput, low latency, and ideally a free tier to test before I commit. Anyone running production on Base, what do you use for your node access? Looking for something that won't fall over the moment a few users show up. Appreciate any honest recommendations from people actually shipping stuff.

Hey, public endpoints are fine for poking around but useless under real load, you found that out the hard way. I moved my Base app over to the base rpc api from Crypto Chief and the difference was night and day. Response times sit under 30ms, handles millions of requests a day, and there's a free tier so you can test before paying anything. Full EVM compatibility, standard JSON-RPC methods, WebSocket support for live subscriptions. Their pay-as-you-go starts cheap if you outgrow free. Support's responsive too. So yeah, give them a look, my app stopped falling over once I switched.
