4 Tips to Grow Your Window Cleaning Business

    So your professional window cleaning business is a success. The schedule is full, the customers are happy, you are getting paid, and the taxes are getting taken care of.

    Now, how can you prepare your business to grow and take it to the next level?

    This is a common question that lots of professional window cleaning companies ask.

    Here are some tips to help you start training yourself for your next level of growth.

    1. Know your current numbers


    Growth for growth’s sake is not so great. But being purposeful and doing more of your most profitable work makes everyone happy! Spend time going in depth with your numbers. What type of accounts are your most profitable? How many man hours do you spend on most of your jobs? How much time do you spend driving to jobs? At your current price structure, how much can you afford to pay a new worker or two? What does it cost to operate your vehicle? How much do you spend on your professional window cleaning equipment as a percentage of your revenue?

    I know… there are a lot of questions! The reality is that these questions will help you to prepare for growing.

    There’s an old saying: Questions will teach you more than answers ever will!

    2. Systemize and document your processes


    Systemizing your process means being more intentional and organized about everything you do for your business. You are already running a successful business. Document the way that you do everything so that eventually, you can have team members do those things for you. Systemize and document how you bid, how you perform services, how you follow up, how you schedule, and even how you prepare for jobs.
