Can anyone tell me the best product for cleaning aluminum awnings. I have brushes and stuff just need pointed in the right direction as far as cleaner or chemical. Just wondering whether how much of a difference it is to clean aluminum compared to the normal vinyl or some fabric awning? If you can, post up some examples of any aluminum awnings you have done in the past and what you used to clean it? Would like to see them before I go out and do this job and make myself look like an idiot not being able to clean it properly haha.

    Well here are some basics:

-Always use a mild detergent such as Woolite or even Dawn dishwashing liquid
-Water should be cold to lukewarm.
-Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.
-Air dry only. Never apply heat.

    And that's pretty much it.
