Version 3 is the current most up to date model of Gardiner’s backpack that’s been upgraded with its technical components along with a few mild cosmetic changes. It’s capable of holding up to 6 gallons of water with a 60psi pump that can produce anywhere between .25-.50 gallons per minute. If you have a high window to get to, the backpack pump has more than enough power to boost the water over 60 feet in height. While it can be worn as a backpack most prefer to either carry the unit, or fix it to a handcart for easier transportation.

All backpacks ship from our warehouse with a rechargeable 12V battery, charging cord along with all the fittings to connect directly to your pole hose. On a full charge the battery will provide superior water flow for up to 9 hours. If the ON switch is in the “I” position, you can control the flow rate on the turn dial located directly next to the ON/OFF toggle switch. This allows you to dictate the amount of water you produce. If the ON switch is set to the “II” position this would produce the maximum amount of water the backpack can provide. Most technicians find that the dial set at the lowest position provides more than enough water for an excellent spot free shine.

The Gardiner backpack is for storage and use of pure water only. There are no filters built onto the backpack. You can use distilled water, or a separate Pure Water System to fill the unit up.

Does The Gardiner Backpack V3 Include A Waterpole? No, this is just the backpack. It doesn’t include a waterpole, but the pump on the backpack will work with one waterpole up to 50+ feet. So it will work for whatever height you need to work at. It comes complete with the connectors needed to hook it up to a waterpole with 5/16 inch or 8mm hose.

How Long Will I Be Able To Clean With The Gardiner Backpack V3? The Gardiner Backpack V3 has a variable flow rate 60 PSI pump. It can be adjusted from .25 GPM to .5 GPM. It has a capacity of 6 gallons. The battery gives up to 9 hours of use from each charge.
