I spoke to a friend recently who was telling he got his first water fed pole setup and I was asking him what system did you buy and what type of pole did you get. He told me he didn't buy a system at all and that he went to his local culligan store and rented a DI tank only for $50 a month. Now as for the pole he went and took a normal unger aluminum extension pole and converted it into a water fed pole. I thought this was really interesting and he was saying that his TDS wasnt that high so all he needed was a DI tank. So for any newbies looking to get into the water fed pole work find out your TDS in your area and if its low this is definitely a affordable way to go but be careful because if your TDS is too high you will go through that resin to quickly in that tank and that can become costly after a while.
