I have been cleaning this commercial account for a few months now and for the past 3 months I have not recieved payment.
This has happen before with them in the past and when I got in touch with the boss he apolozied and sent the check the next day. How long would you continue servicing a customer without recieving payment???

I think 90 days is a good cut off point. You're going to find out a lot of customers go delinquent on their bills, it seems to come with the trade. But most people can't afford to cut them off if there is any prospect they are going to get paid, because it usually means losing the job.

I agree with Luke, you'll have to consider their circumstances and decide on your own since they're not all the same. It varies from people to people. If it was me I would have already requested it at 2 months

I actually have no idea, probably would have paid if didn't feel quite right so I'd just request the money after a few months I'm not even that organized, maybe I wouldn't even accept the job if they didn't pay me immediately. Though this thread is really helpful

3 months is fine but that's the maximum, make sure you have a guy for that so you might not forget or make a schedule

I think 3 months is a bit too high though, not sure myself though as I don't have too much experience but I know I get paranoid for the payment after a while so I'd want it to be something like 2 months if not lower
