What’s a trad pole, you ask? “Trad” is short for “traditional.” So it’s any pole used for traditional window cleaning with a scrubber and a squeegee.

Our trad poles are carbonfiber or a mixture of carbonfiber to make them lighter and more rigid than aluminum extension poles. TRAD POLES

Gardiner Red CLX TRAD Pole


The Gardiner Red CLX TRAD Pole is a telescoping waterpole made of a 50/50 blend of carbonfiber and fiberglass. It features Gardiner’s patented Smart Clamps that are super easy to use and the hold sections in place without spinning. The insulated outer handle section is made of non-conductive fiberglass, suitable for resisting up to 15,000V.

The Gardiner Red CLX TRAD Pole is the same pole as the Gardiner CLX Waterpole, but without the Pure Water accessories. This is a barebones pole with no brush, gooseneck, hose, or fittings. Instead, it comes with a TRAD pole adapter and an Unger ErgoTec Locking Cone pole tip to attach traditional tools easily.

The TRAD pole sizes listed are the fully extended physical length. Working height can be estimated by adding another 5 feet.

• The CLX 4 foot is 2-section and about 0.59 pounds.
• The CLX 8 foot is 3-section and about 1.12 pounds.
• The CLX 10 foot is 3-section and about 1.37 pounds.

Gardiner Onyx SLX TRAD Pole

The Gardiner Onyx SLX TRAD Pole is a telescoping pole made of 100% carbonfiber. It features Gardiner’s patented Smart Clamps that are super easy to use and hold sections in place without spinning. The insulated outer handle section is suitable for resisting up to 5,000V.

The Gardiner Onyx SLX TRAD Pole is the same pole as the Gardiner SLX Waterpole, but without the Pure Water accessories. This is a barebones pole with no brush, gooseneck, hose, or fittings. Unger Ninja Transformer Carbonfiber TRAD Pole (5 Foot)

The Unger Ninja Transformer Carbonfiber TRAD Pole features full carbonfiber section in a 2-section pole of 5 feet. It is compact, lightweight, and super smooth to operate and use. It’s sharp looking in the Ninja green and black. It comes with an Unger ErgoTec Locking Cone (NCAN0) with locking button that’s very versatile for attaching many different tools.

It’s great for when you just need a little bit of extra reach and will make a great addition to your toolbox. This pole is usually only available in the Unger Limited Edition Ninja Transformer Box, but you can also get it by itself here.

Tucker Sidekick Fiberglass TRAD Pole (6 Foot)

The Tucker Sidekick Fiberglass TRAD Pole features full fiberglass sections in a 3-section pole of 6 feet. It is compact, lightweight, and finished in yellow so you won’t lose it. It comes with a wood taper to work with any window cleaning tools.

It’s great for extra reach and its compact design is great for tight working spaces or directly in front of yourself.

Maykker Mini Carbonfiber TRAD Pole (8 Foot)

The Maykker Mini Carbonfiber TRAD Pole features full carbonfiber sections in a 5-section pole of 8 feet. It is super compact, lightweight, and beautifully finished in Maykker yellow. It comes with your choice of pole tips:
