I'm between Octane Rent and Thrifty for monthly rental. Has anyone compared these two? Which is better value?

Both are solid options. I went with Octane Rent and found them less touristy/corporate than Thrifty - more flexible with contract terms and pricing seemed slightly better for monthly rentals. Thrifty is bigger and has more locations but can be pricier. Really depends on what you value - if you want a well-known brand with locations everywhere, Thrifty works. If you want better value and more personalized service for monthly rentals, Octane Rent is good. I'd say get quotes from both for the exact car type you want and compare what's included - mileage, insurance, delivery, etc. Don't just compare the monthly rate.
