I have both regular ladders along with sectional ladders. I like sectional ladders but sometimes it can be a pain putting them together but there great for storage and always there if you need it. Now regular ladders take up more space but if you have a ladder rack on your truck its easy to load and unload and your good to go but everyone has there own preferences. So do you prefer sectional ladders or regular ladders and what are the pros and cons?

I have a ladder rack on top of my van. I keep a 21' werner ladder up there. I also throw in a 6' step ladder in the van. I'm wanting to get a little giant ladder, I think that would be handy. How tall of a ladder do you keep with you at all times?

I keep a 18tf ladder with me that actually fits in the bed on my truck at all times but if I know I will need more then that I will bring out the 28ft ladder and put it on the ladder rack. Having a water fed pole and 18ft ladder with me at all times I can complete most homes with that combination.

I'm a ladder freak, you'd think they were free with all I have. I love my sectional as it's just to easy to work with and light. It's aluminum though and that can have it's hazards. I also carry around on my truck rack a 6' and 12' A frame, a 32', 24', and 12' extension (all fiberglass 2 piece models), and can't forget the good old 3' step ladder and my prize possession which is a 6' platform ladder. Always have those and there isn't a window that I can't reach. For the special jobs I also have a multi-position Werner that folds into all sorts of shapes and a 40' ext for those really big houses that are all over the nice areas of town. Wouldn't trade a single one, different situations call for different approaches.

Can't forget about the handy stabilizer I carry as well. Best $80 I ever spent, makes the job unbelievably safer and less stressful even in a good wind.
