    How much do you spend a year on direct mailing and what's ROI?

    Last year in the spring we sent out 2,000 jumbo postcards that cost about $600 including the stamps and we only got about $1,500 worth of work. Some of the customers we got from the mail-ins are active customers and hopefully forever but I expected more work.
    To see a good return I think you need to send out at least 5,000 pieces at a time to make it worth while.

    yeah it is right, you can promote your business through direct mailing to the customers. You can also collect mail id of customers from different site.

    There are several programs that give you automatic mailing though you might want to avoid most of them as they are malicious programs that may harm your computer. You may not want to take the risk but if you head at the right direction it can do wonders.

    Just get a huge list of online potential customers and send it to them, I personally don't have experience on it but I've heard it has been working out for some people so you may want to think about it
