Pure water window cleaning is the way to go for many of your window cleaning jobs. There are many systems and choices on the market today. Our goal at Detroit Sponge is to offer window cleaners great choices from industrial grade window cleaning equipment. The Eco Cart and HydroBox Ultra are two systems that are worth considering for your pure water window cleaning needs.

Either of the two systems by HydroSphere Innovation are ideal systems for your pure water window cleaning needs. Both units feature multiple stages of water purification. Source water will travel through a prefilter, a reverse osmosis filter and a DI filter. The filters are all water industry standard filters, making maintenance cost effective and simple.

The multiple stage systems in the lineup offer a variety of features. The Eco Cart is an easy-to-use system that will produce the water you need at a great price. The bigger system, Hydrobox Ultra, has a larger orientation of components that provides a more substantial amount of water produced. Let’s look at the features of each of these units.

The Eco Cart from HydroSphere features a 10-inch carbon/sediment pre filter, a 40-inch reverse osmosis filter and a generous 20-inch DI filter. These filters are designed and engineered to work together to help the Eco Cart sustain a production rate of 1.75 GPM of filtered water. The inflatable, 10-inch tires allow the unit to be moved very easily across a variety of terrains on any given job. With stainless-steel housing for the reverse osmosis filter, the system is designed to maintain the pressure that is needed to process the water as efficiently as possible through the main membrane. The system also includes a wastewater valve, which can be very helpful for controlling water pressure and flow. Weighing in at 45 pounds, the unit can be operated in the standing or laying position.

The typical customer of the Eco Cart will be someone that is doing work that is up to 35 ft high. The system is designed to create enough water for a single water pole. With all metal, standard connections, this system has proved easy to maintain and service while in the field. The prefilter and DI filter can be expected to operate for 2-4 months with regular use, depending on the input water quality.

If you are someone that would benefit from the most water production on the market, the HydroBox Ultra V8 Technology unit is for you. Every feature of this system is designed to maximize the flow of pure water from the unit. Sized at a manageable 36 x 23 x 21 inches, the innovative design of a larger than industry standard reverse osmosis filter is the key to water production. Which means with water pressure from the tap, you can expect to have up to 3 gallons per minute of flow. This allows enough water pressure for the operation of 2 poles without any pump or additional pressure.

The HydroBox system is built with a 20-inch carbon pre filter, large diameter reverse osmosis filter, and a 20-inch refillable DI filter. With 10-inch inflatable tires and an aluminum frame, the unit sits low on the ground and is easy to maneuver over uneven terrain.

An extra feature of the system is the ability to work in RO only mode. This really helps to save on the cost of DI. If your source water is in the moderate to low range, the RO only mode very well could produce water with less than 10 PPM Total dissolved solids. This means spot free work on only RO!

Our goal at Detroit Sponge is to offer you a variety of choices for your equipment needs. These two systems from the independent HydroSphere Innovation company have been performing well for contractors in the field and are worth your consideration. Check out the Eco Cart and HydroBox systems on our website for videos and more information about these systems.
