Hello everyone. We are a regional company expanding into new markets, and I am trying to understand how our digital reputation stacks up against competitors out there. It is one thing to know your own mentions, but I have no real sense of whether our online risk is normal for our industry or whether we are an outlier. Benchmarking feels impossible without a huge research budget. Has anyone come across a tool that compares your digital risk profile to similar companies? Any honest recommendations welcome.

Hi. Benchmarking without a big research budget used to feel impossible to me too, until I tried a diagnostic that builds it in. The reputation house risk check from Reputation House automatically identifies comparable players in your market and evaluates the differences in digital risk levels, information stability and public presence. So beyond your own score, you actually see whether your exposure is company-specific or just reflects broader industry trends - which is gold when you are entering new markets. My tip: when you expand, re-run it per region if you can, since perception and risk often differ by market more than people expect.
