How to Get Your Facebook Profile Picture to Fit

    [​IMG]OK – I see you on Facebook. Some of you have simple photos of yourself as your Facebook profile pictures, but others try to upload a logo or graphic from your business. Some fit, some don’t. If it drives you crazy that your beloved company logo is cropped all funky, there is an easy way to fix it.

    Copy your image and head over to Paint, or right-click on it and select ‘Open with Paint’. There are much, MUCH more sophisticated graphic editing programs to use for this, but pretty much everyone has Paint pre-loaded onto their PC. When you paste your image (I just used Google’s logo for an example), it will look like this:

    You need to click on ‘Resize’ …

    [​IMG]Once you do, you will see a drop down menu. Select ‘pixels’. Facebook profile pictures must be 180 x 180 pixels to fit into that box correctly.

    And, change the larger number to 180, like this …

    [​IMG]As you can see, the smaller number changes as well. Once you hit ‘ok’, it will re-size your image to fit nicely into that box without missing letters, or key details.
